P.S.P.M. | Linoprint

Bold carved shapes and layered pattern give this linocut its distinctly graphic feel. Santa Cruz artist Joan Pranata Bogart builds her relief prints around nature, repetition, and the visual influence of Indonesian batik.

Each 16 x 20 inch piece is hand-pressed, signed, and numbered on Stonehenge printmaking paper using Speedball water-based ink, with the small variations that come from printing by hand.
