Fluffy-cloud white

Cumulus White is a frosty translucent white that shows off any ink colour inside, which makes the Cumulus White Kakuno a fun canvas for ink lovers.

The Madoromi series

Madoromi, the name of the Kakuno Cumulus White's series, is Japanese for the drowsy moment between waking and sleep. Pilot's Madoromi Kakunos come in five soft translucent shades, Nimbus Gray, Azure Sky, Rosy Dusk, Twilight Periwinkle and Cumulus White, and the Kakuno Cumulus White is one of them.

Made for learning to write

Like every Kakuno, the Kakuno Cumulus White was designed to introduce people to fountain pens, with a hexagonal barrel that will not roll off the desk, a shaped grip that guides your fingers, and a smiling face on the nib that shows you which way up to hold it.

Nib and filling

We offer the Kakuno Cumulus White with a steel nib in Fine or Medium. The Kakuno Cumulus White comes with a Pilot cartridge; add a Pilot converter, sold separately, to use bottled ink.
