Abstract Sunflower with Stripes | Linoprint

Sunflower forms and stripes share the page in this 11 x 14 inch linocut by Joan Pranata Bogart. The flower is simplified into bold carved shapes, while the stripes add a strong dose of graphic pattern.

Joan’s work draws from nature, California, and the motif-rich tradition of Indonesian batik. Each print is hand-pressed, signed, and numbered on Stonehenge printmaking paper.
